WELCOME TO THE OTP WEBSITE— This site is designed to help you find answers to many of your questions about completing the OTP questionnaire, and to provide you with other useful links and information.

The Opioid Treatment Program Survey, sponsored by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), will be administered to approximately 1,200 substance abuse treatment facilities that are certified as Opioid Treatment Programs by SAMHSA. The purpose of the survey is to gather information regarding types of treatments and services available, staffing and patient characteristics, and organizational features specific to OTPs. In March 2011, OTPs will be asked to complete this survey in conjunction with their annual National Survey of Substance Abuse Treatment Services (N-SSATS). The timeframe for completing the OTP survey will be the same as for N-SSATS.

The OTP survey is conducted by Mathematica Policy Research, Inc. on behalf of SAMHSA.
